Dr.  Bill Pickard
Clinical Director

Dr. Pickard, alias "Dr. P." brings nearly forty yearsof experience to the patients.  He loves watching smiles and faces change during treatment, and can recognize "his faces" anywhere.  He's a perfectionist, which is good news for his patients. 

Building a powerful, synergistic team is an important element of Garland Orthodontic’s success. Serving as Clinical Director, Dr. Pickard is able to mentor and consult with the brilliant orthodontist who treats our patients each day. 

Dr. Matthew D. Hill
Orthodontist

Dr. Matthew Hill is a board certified orthodontist who resides in Texas. Dr. Hill attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree, majoring in biology with a minor in Japanese. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the national Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. Dr. Hill then continued on to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he completed his orthodontic residency while serving as Chief Resident.

While pursuing his orthodontic certification, Dr. Hill was the recipient of the Charley Schultz Resident Scholar award and the Southern Association of Orthodontist Research Award. Dr. Hill is currently a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Texas Orthodontic Association, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and the International Association of Dental Research.

In his spare time, Dr. Hill enjoys the outdoors and stays active through his interest in golf, basketball, skiing, running, and biking. He also recently completed two triathlons. Dr. Hill and his wife, Lisa, have been married for thirteen years and have three children.
